Cancellation Policy & Deposit Information

Wedding deposit - ( Applies for the entire year.)


To secure your Wedding date:


I require 50% down at the time of booking, this will set your date in stone. Until I receive that deposit someone else is also entitled to book that day. So be sure to get it in as soon as possible unless we have made other arrangements. I do my best to accommodate everyone.


The other half including travel (if any) is due one week before the wedding. You can either write me a post dated cheque and I can remind you when I cash it or I can pop you a reminder email a few weeks prior to your wedding and remind you then. Whichever you prefer.


Once I receive your deposit I will send you a receipt and a contract which states your wedding information and the cancellation policy. You will also sign a permission form that I keep on file to allow me to use your photos for website and marketing usage. This will include posting my photos to my blog, my group on facebook, my website and any home shows or other events where my photos will be displayed.


The contract also outlines in brief text the reprint policy once you have received your images on CD.


Cancellation Policy
:
You will NOT receive your deposit back if the wedding is canceled due to the fact that you and your significant other call it off. However, if the wedding is canceled due to a death then the deposit will be returned. This has never happened and I hope it never does but I have to make people aware.


Should something happen to me: This is something that crossed my mind recently and I new I had to come up with something should anything every happen to me which renders me unable to be your photographer. If something happens to myself, my husband, or my children and renders me unable to photograph your wedding, I will do my best if I am still able to to find you a replacement photographer, you will also be reimbursed of all charges that you have submitted to me. Again, I hope this never happens as it would be devastating to both you and myself, but again I must make you aware.

Photoshoots not inc. weddings: (Applies only during the months of May - Sept.)

Because the summer months are really busy I have had to implement a $75.00 deposit policy for any other photo shoots occurring during the busy time of year. This will only be for the months of May - Sept. It makes it difficult when someone cancels and I could have given that day to someone else and it is very hard to fill last minute.

How it works: Your $75.00 will be deducted from your photoshoot if you keep your original date. I realize that unforeseen things happen but this prevents those that decide they just don't want to do it that day from backing out.  If you reschedule for a later date the policy starts over.

**YOU MUST KEEP YOUR ORIGINAL DATE & TIME IN ORDER TO HAVE THE DEPOSIT DEDUCTED FROM YOUR SESSION.**
